本府台北辦公室自98年原台南縣時代成立，合併之後也依慣例租賃，每月租金為5萬2,000元。107年經費支用含租金、管理費、水電費、行政事務費、人事費及車輛費用，共計162萬3,728元。

綜觀國內各縣市，包括金門、連江、苗栗、台南、高雄、屏東、台東、台中、澎湖等9縣市皆設有台北辦公室或聯絡處所，顯見本府台北辦公室之設置確實有工作的必要。
